Hi there.

Hi. I’m Jack Parker (27), a British/Dutch music industry professional based in the Netherlands. I’ve been active in the music industry since 2013, making it my full time focus in 2017 after graduating from Erasmus University in Rotterdam (BsC in International Communication & Media).

In 2013 I founded the music website All Things Loud. Today, the ATL team features dedicated photographers and writers around the world, covering everything from major festivals and arena shows to underground gigs and the bands of tomorrow. In 2021 and 2022 All Things Loud also had its own radio show on KINK Indie (NL), showcasing new releases every Friday. This was curated by myself, and hosted by KINK’s Jasper Leijdens.

In 2015 I took up photography, and have worked with the likes of Nile Rodgers & Chic, Nothing But Thieves and many more since. I’ve also photographed at major festivals like Rock am Ring, Mad Cool and Pinkpop. I’ve had the likes of Dua Lipa, Billie Eilish, Muse, Gorillaz and Slipknot in front of my lens. I am also part of the house photography team at Paard in The Hague, and in the past also took pictures for Melkweg and Paradiso in Amsterdam. In 2020 I shot the cover art for Bad Nerves’ debut album.

I added music management to my CV in 2019 when I became manager of Dutch band The Vices. I spent three years as their manager, guiding them from unknown indie band to a household name with a strong team behind them. In 2020 I joined the Scruff of the Neck team and spent three years working multiple roles in their international department, leaving in 2023. At Scruff of the Neck I worked as the label’s international manager, handling PR/promo/radio plugging and eventually dipping my toes into live booking.

Through my work with The Vices I also became involved in live booking, which started when I created ViceFest. Now in its fourth year, ViceFest is a one-day indoor festival showcasing the crazy world of The Vices. I book the line-up for ViceFest in close collaboration with the band and with support from Joey Ruchtie and De Oosterpoort. Previous editions have featured the likes of Bad Nerves, Black Honey, The Murlocs, Temples and Thala. In 2023, I booked the first international editions of ViceFest in London and Berlin. I have also booked European tours for Isaac Anderson, IST IST, Cloudsurfers, Film Noir and All the Young, among others.

In 2022 I also started working as the live booker for Hofman, a 150-capacity venue/bar in Utrecht. At Hofman I am in charge of the weekly live music nights, as well as the line-ups and stage management at our three open air festivals (Lentebockfestival, Fonteyn Festival and Bockbierfestival). After moving on from The Vices in March 2022, I managed Dutch newcomers Pale Puma for three months before eventually settling on Bumble B. Boy and Leah Rye, both of whom I managed for a year before deciding to focus fully on bookings. I also worked with Manchester-based artist Liv Cartier.

Since August 2023 I have also taken on my first ever office job, at Vorstin in Hilversum. I’m part of the booking team, and I’m also responsible for talent development, which resulted in me organising the first ever 035 Popprijs for upcoming artists in the region. In April 2024 I also started working with London-based agency Akira on live bookings in the Benelux.
